Born in Haiti to Italian parents, Karin moved to Africa, where she spent her childhood and adolescence travelling between Guinea, Ethiopia, Central Africa, Algeria and Burkina Faso.

She attends the International School of Ouagadougou in order to perfect her English and add another language to a growing repertoire of languages including French and Italian. During this period he began to study singing at the American College International School of Ouagadougou. 

After moving to Italy, she continued her studies of modern singing at Franco Miseria’s Musical Studies Centre with teacher Gabriella Scalise. Later she perfected with various teachers including: Sally Moriconi, Elsa Baldini (with the Voice Craft method) and follows the famous Speech level singing method (created by Seth Riggs) with the teacher Silvia Spagnoli.she specialized in style and didactics in Pop, Rock, Blues genres.

In Rome she meets Felice Severa, alias Felix, a member of the new duo from the mid-1990s (Maximus & Felix) and pushes Karin to become passionate about show business. With Felice Severa the idea of creating a professional band emerges and the guitarist Alessandro Severa is involved as the third element of the band.

She carries out an intense live activity with her own songwriting project and with other formations. She has collaborated as author and singer for productions located in the Caribbean for the U.S. market. For her songs she has collaborated with several arrangers and artistic producers including Emiliano Duncan Barbieri (author for Giorgia, Rubén, Universal productions) and Bruno Marinucci.

The group offers a repertoire of songs written by Karin Vox obtaining a fair amount of success.
